Music

Hans Christian Andersen said, “Where words fail, music speaks.” One of the imperatives in the Christian life is praising God and the clarion demand throughout all of Scripture is to “Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.” Music is a gift from God that we can and must give back to Him. Besides praising the Lord, music gives an outlet for expression in ways that no other means can. Therefore, musicianship and love for virtuous music must be cultivated and trained early in students' lives. These are several of the opportunities of our music program:

• private piano lessons
• private voice lessons 
• elementary recorder class
• elementary concert band
• high school choir
• various plays, programs, and church performances
